When my clients discover and align their core values with their daily habits, personal and professional relationships, and personal vision, I have found that they re-ignite a sense of purpose in life. The Greater Purpose Blueprint stands out from other online coaching programs because it teaches how to objectively examine your life with my signature method adapted from actor training called the “Get Real System.” As a theatre artist and coach, I teach you how to become aware of how you show up in the world and are perceived by others.

I’ve matched this level of examining life’s circumstances, patterns, and stories with mindfulness practices that enhance your understanding of your experience, which I call “Notice the Now.” As a certified yoga teacher and embodiment trainer, I give you practices that take no more than ten to fifteen minutes to complete. You’ll learn to observe your experiences to take meaningful action in your life.

My expertise as a performance teacher, embodied voice and speech trainer, yoga teacher, and theatre director equips me with a unique skill set as a coach. I listen deeply, interpret vocal cues in my client’s speech, take a fuller picture of their situation to call out what’s before them and inspire them to take action to their next best step. I don’t speak to my clients in corporate lingo. If you work with me, I’ll talk to you as if we are in the neighborhood coffee shop— real talk for real people.

You’ll understand how you got to where you are (with zero judgment), realize what you need to release by either setting clear boundaries or substituting poor habits with life-optimizing habits and learn how to take action on the next best steps to honor your true purpose.

The Greater Purpose Blueprint is an 8-week action-oriented group online program teaching how to go from feeling uncertain about one’s path to being confident about how to make the impact only they can make. All materials are delivered online, and we meet once a week to connect for larger teaching.

Meet Your Guide

Hi, I’m Melissa! I founded The Greater Purpose Blueprint because I'm on a mission to teach the mindset tools that create a fruitful life in all ways— mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The material I teach in this program is the same that transformed my life from one filled with anxiety into one full of meaning, purpose, and insightful action.

After losing myself while earning two graduate degrees and then finding myself in embodied voice and yoga practices, I realized that a great life is more than what's on your resume. It comes from knowing yourself at your truest core, living purposefully, and deepening your connection with others.

I did a deep dive inwardly to get real myself and cultivate self-compassion. I faced off with my inner critic and surpassed feelings of imposter syndrome.

I released anxiety, found my voice, and advocated for myself professionally and personally. I went from feeling invisible to feeling empowered.

I'm here to teach you the tools you need to do the same.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’m really busy. How much time will this take each week?

  • This program is designed for busy people with work, social, and family obligations. The video training averages about 37 minutes in length each week. Establishing a daily meditation practice is part of the work, but the amount of time is completely personal to you. I recommend starting with three minutes in the morning and then seeing how it can (and will) grow once you realize the benefit of the practice on your clarity and productivity.

  • The coaching calls are 60 minutes in length, with 8 calls scheduled.

  • You have ten weeks given to complete the program. You can access all of the videos at once— you can self-pace according to your design.

I tried meditating once and didn’t like it. What do I do?

  • I can appreciate the difficulty you have experienced exploring meditation practice in the past. You may have had a teacher who was not able to accommodate your learning style or lifestyle. I have been a teacher of embodiment practices for over ten years and have taught many people from various backgrounds and perspectives. The Toolkit has a range of styles for you to connect with yourself. I am confident you will find a pathway into yourself that resonates!

Can I figure out if I am on the right career path?

  • I cannot guarantee any improvements in your workplace culture or values, but I can help you determine how you show up within those circumstances and decide the next best steps from there.

  • I cannot tell you whether you are on the right career path, but I can teach you how to develop your understanding of yourself and your life, fortify your intuition, and determine if your current career aligns with your highest good.

  • Many people have come into the program wondering if they have been climbing the wrong mountain! They realized they were not in the right place and ended up knowing exactly how to market themselves in alignment with their values— they ended up transitioning into wonderful career opportunities (some with increases in pay and rank upon completion of the program). Others realized their career is fine, but they must create clearer boundaries with their teams to free themselves from the burden of taking on too much. As a result, they enjoy time with family, friends, and their hobbies. In short, it depends on how much you trust the process, do the work, and lean into a sense of wonder about your story, who you are, and how you are! It is a wonderful process!
